PBSC is delighted to announce our newest partner, Westlaw Canada (Thomson Reuters). From PBSC’s perspective, it is critical that our student volunteers receive proper training in legal research and writing (LRW) when working on a PBSC project. WestlawCanada has generously offered to provide this training to every PBSC chapter in Canada. The professionals at WestlawCanada have created a unique LRW training program for our students, adapted to the kinds of public interest projects that make up the bulk of PBSC’s efforts. This training program from WestlawCanada will significantly enhance the quality of the work PBSC law students are able to provide, and thus the development and delivery of pro bonoservices across the country. PBSC is grateful for WestlawCanada’s support and dedication to increasing access to justice for Canadians.
