PBSC is a proud partner of Flip Your Wig for Justice, a campaign designed to raise awareness & funds for 5 access to justice organizations: PBSC, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, Community Legal Education Ontario, METRAC Action on Violence and the Ontario Justice Education Network.
Flip Your Wig is based on the concept of the traditional barrister’s wig and the idea that, as lawyers, we are so concerned about a lack of access to justice, we are “flipping our wigs” in frustration.
Flip Your Wig is seeking nominations for “Access to Justice Champions.” At PBSC, we know that law students are a vital part of the collaborative approach our complex access to justice problem requires. Do you have a classmate who is taking his or her access to justice commitment to the next level? Help us recognize a deserving law student (or any other unsung hero)!
Access to Justice Champions will be selected by the participating Flip Your Wig organizations in early December. Champions will be featured alongside celebrated advocates from our community with a profile in a special magazine insert in the Law Times.
Nominate an access to justice champion here, by November 27th at 11:59pm: http://goo.gl/forms/JbbxEnAis9.
